This gluten free flank steak recipe always produces glowing reviews from my family; I haven’t actually eaten this because I’m a vegetarian – who lives amongst meat eaters. I’ve made the marinade for the steak a number of times but my husband cooks this to sheer perfection (apparently).
One of the tickets with this recipe is to ask the butcher to put the steak through the tenderizer again - before they wrap it up for you.
In order for this to be a gluten free recipe, be sure you’re using a gluten free soy sauce or tamari for the marinade. I usually make stuffed portabello mushrooms for the vegetarian option.
